At Nourishing Minds Nutrition, we believe women deserve to feel at peace with food, have a monthly period which tells them their body is healthy and know that they are capable of getting pregnant, without medical intervention. We are looking for an exceptional Registered Dietitian to join our team!
Job title: Registered Dietitian
Hours: 5-10 hours per week, flexible work hours with opportunity to increase
Location: Virtual, must live and be registered in the United States
Pay: Commission based
Start date: As soon as possible
Job Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional nutrition coaching to support clients through period recovery and getting pregnant
Interpretation of HTMA and other functional lab testing (DUTCH, GI MAP) with personalized plans created based on results
Food and body image coaching to support client through disordered eating recovery as they get their periods back and get pregnant
Use your knowledge of nutrition, period health, fertility tracking, intuitive eating and body image to create treatment plans, interpret labs, educate clients and support them every step of the way to getting their periods back and getting pregnant.
Build rapport and a relationship with clients where they feel seen, heard and safe. Communication with clients is provided to build trust, encourage them to take action, and help them process struggles.
Confidently lead clients through recovery so they can get their periods back + restore fertility by utilizing cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology.
Support clients by providing tailored period comeback plans, fertility nutrition enhancement, 1-1 sessions and Slack messaging support in between sessions.
Support group members by providing Slack messaging support.
The ideal candidate:
Has extensive knowledge and experience working in functional nutrition and interpretation of labs
Has extensive knowledge of hypothalamic amenorrhea, and the specific strategies required to recover periods
Passionate about period recovery + women’s health + fertility
Willing to grow and expand skillset in disordered eating and body image coaching
Is confident, warm and encouraging
Requirements:2+ years experience providing nutrition counseling and/or coaching
Ability to learn new technology and software and integrate it into practice
Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to accomplish work independently
BS Degree from an accredited institution
Up-to-date registration as a registered dietitian, licensure if required per your state
Maintenance of continuing education
